Grow Naturally Taller

Today we are going to focus on a few types of exercises to grow naturally taller and go into specific workouts that you can do to help you achieve your goal in gaining height:

Stretching Exercises

Stretching may be the most underrated exercise amongst all types of workouts.  Although with the rise in popularity of Yoga and Pilates, more people are taking an interested in stretching, stretching is still something not many people do during their workouts.  Before this article you may have not even been aware that stretching can help increase your height, although it should make sense as to why it would.

As mentioned, Yoga and Pilates are stretching workouts that are great to assist when wanting to grow naturally taller.  Other stretching exercises you should consider doing include: pull ups/flexes, Indian push-ups, twists, and shoulder lifts.

Spine Exercises

Spinal exercises may be a type of work out you had never done before which pretty much aligns yourself with the rest of the population.  People who exercise their spine usually do it if they have suffered an injury or have an achy back problem, but for the most part, people don’t exercise their spine.

What you may associate with spine exercise are complex work outs with complex equipment, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Spine exercises include simple exercises such as hanging and swimming (breast stroke is known to be most effective when swimming to gain inches in height).  Using a body inversion table for body inversion exercise is also a good work out to stretch the spine.  With these spine exercises you are actually allowing it to stretch itself and prepare itself for growth.

With these workouts you don’t need to go out and join an expensive gym.  You could choose to just work out at home.  If you decide you are serious about gaining height meanwhile improve your overall health some equipment you may want to look into includes: a door gym, inversion table, inversion boots, ankle weights, weightlifting wrist wraps, and a stationary bike.

You don’t need to join a gym nor have a gym in your house or apartment, but what you do need is dedication and plan.  A plan is very important in keeping track of your progress towards your goal to grow naturally taller and also to keep you ON track as well.

This should go without saying but smoking, alcohol and drugs should be reduced (or even cut out) when trying to gain height especially as you get older.  These things can affect your growth rate especially as you age.

When working out and doing these exercises don’t forget to stay hydrated.

The Easiest ‘Exercise’ You’ll Ever Perform

Another thing that isn’t necessarily an exercise but in a way can be looked upon like that in this particular situation is sleep.  It is important to note that 95% of human growth occurs during sleep. With that said, I think it is obvious as to why it is important to get at least 8 hours of sleep a day.
